A Wasted Afternoon

We went to the Middle School today for what was advertised as "an entertaining afternoon for children and adults as Dr. Seuss comes to life." I took Gracie and Ella expecting crazy antics from people dressed up in Dr. Seuss attire or at least reading from Dr. Seuss books. Well, the joke was on me, because all it offered was the man shown above talking about Dr. Seuss and his life writing books. It was a horrible event to advertise "for children" because it wasn't even that entertaining for adults. I'm only posting this because I finally let Gracie kill time by taking pictures, so I wanted to post her photography.

(Paxton goes to daycare with Ella, and his big brother won a door prize so he had a cute stuffed animal to entertain him.)
That is not the face of an entertained little Ella.

Do not go to the circus that is to be in Macon I think this week or you will probably see two girls who are not entertained. The circus just left Moberly and one of the ladies at the bank say it was a total ripoff. She said it cost her $28 to go, the kids got in free. She said the cats were not tigers, lions but tame cats like we keep in our homes. There was one elephant(small). Small kids might like it but you would be so bummed out from paying that much that your attitude might transfer to them.
