Vacation - Day Three

Gracie looks tired, and this was before we ever left the hotel today!


The restaurant in our hotel had a table for kids. The girls liked coloring and playing Legos while they waited for the adults.




After we met Micky and all his friends yesterday Gracie started asking why Daisy Duck wasn't there. I didn't have an answer for her, but today we had the good fortune to find Daisy. She was so cute!

We were back in the Magic Kingdom today, so I tried to get a better picture of Cinderella's Castle. We had to go back for the princess show again so that Ella could see it. She slept through the first viewing.

See those rosey cheeks? It was awfully hot this morning, but Ella was still enthralled by the show.

I think Gracie enjoyed it the second time around, as well!

After the show we did a little more exploring and found Tiana from "The Princess and the Frog." She was so pretty!

Three pretty princesses!!!

Fantasyland was our destination today. We couldn't resist a picture with the elephant shaped bush.

Ella didn't want to ride the actual Dumbo ride, but she was fine with this stationary elephant.

Brent and Gracie thought Dumbo was a pretty fun ride!

Bert and Mary Poppins were among my favorite characters to see. They were both good actors and played the parts very well.

We headed to the Animal Kingdom for supper. Yak and Yeti was the name of the restaurant. It was an amazing meal! This tree is the Tree of Life and it is a predominant feature in the Animal Kingdom. There are animals and other tribal things carved into the bark all the way up the tree. It was impressive.

This photo shows the entryway to the pool at our hotel. We tried to swim everyday, but most days it was a late night swim. Gracie met a very good friend here. Her name was Gracie, she was from Maine, her birthday was only a week apart from Gracie Doolin's and they were both 6 years old. They thought they were twins and pretty much told everyone about each other.

The stairs behind Brent and the girls are meant to look like a dragon's tail that you are climbing. The slide was the same way. You entered the slide by climbing stairs up his tail, and then you exited the slide by coming out his mouth. It was a pretty neat feature.

Gracie enjoyed the slide a lot, but Ella never did go down. We made it to the top several times, but she always chickened out.
