Summer School Blues

We made Gracie attend Summer School at Macon this year. She will be going to school at Macon for the first time this fall, so we wanted her to be somewhat familiar with the school. Gracie wasn't thrilled that she had to go, but she ended up loving it! We told her she had to go the first 2 weeks, and then after that she didn't have to. However, she chose to go everyday but one. (I guess it was more fun than she thought it would be!)

Gracie is waiting for the school bus on the first day. She was actually excited to get to ride the bus!

Wow! Gracie is starting the 2nd grade this fall. How did that happen???

Ella needed to be in a picture. Never mind her wild hair. She literally rolled out of bed and got dressed so that she could wait with Gracie for the bus to arrive.

Gracie barely looked back as she got on the bus. What a big girl!

Off she goes! I'm sure there will be many stories tonight.
