Photo Sessions Are Stressful

I took Ella and Gracie to Sears yesterday to have their first pictures together. It was a huge flop. Ella was really gassy and fussy, so it took a lot of work to get her happy. Then the photographer focused so much on getting Ella to smile that she would forget about Gracie, and as soon as Ella smiled she would take the picture and we would realize Gracie had a totally fake smile on her face. You know, the plastered on smile that had been there for 5 minutes didn't look real cute to me so I had a hard time picking a picture to buy. I did buy one, but I sure hope we get some better shots next time. Anyway, Ella was all smiles when we got home, so I took a few cute pictures of my own. The drool running down her dress and arm is typical these days.

I had to share this one. It kind of portrays how we all felt about the photo session!

All mommies have been in your shoes. As I recall, there were times when it was tough to get Ella and Gracie's mommy to smile. Times do change.

I can relate to Ella's picture it is 9:40 pm and I am still at work waiting for the next nurse to come in.

Simply adorable! Your girls can't take bad pics. No way. But I understand . . . you need to take someone else with you. Alisha tries to schedule her pics when I can go with her. It's hard enough for the two of us to work with the photographer. Just down right hard work to photograph lil ones.

I can sympathize with you! It's tough to get my crew to all smile at the same time, especially if you want a real smile and not the fake ones. It really helps us to use the same photographer all the time so that they know him and he knows which ones will need a bit more work to get the smiles.

I had to come back today for another laugh. I love Ella sticking out her tongue at everybody and I needed something like that b/c of the hectic day. Hehe!!!

I actually had my dad with me, Vian. Maybe we are just rookies. We'll probably work out a strategy next time for each girl.

Even with two, photo shoots can be so hard. We had three of us for the session at Babies R Us and you remember how that went -- disaster!!! No matter, priceless pics are normally captured!!!
