School Day Blues
Gracie didn't want to go to school today. The way my work schedule is set up, she goes to school two days in a row and then gets to forget about it for the next 5 days. Sometimes I think that is poor planning, and it might be better if she went a couple different days throughout the week instead. Anyway, today when I announced that it was a school day, she protested. I didn't have too much sympathy, but I got her all dolled up for school and then took her pictures outside. Sometimes if you just ooh and aah over her, she works her way out of a bad mood. It worked today.
"
OK, I think I'm ready to go to school now. Just make sure you don't forget to pick me up!" :-) (Sorry, but that's an inside joke! Someone who is reading this will understand!!!)

Gracie, I know the feeling about not wanting to go to school every day.
Inquiring minds are dying to know...who forgot to pick her up?
It was bound to happen sooner or later when Wapa and Nana are on patrol to pick up the girls. A little misunderstanding and so no one picked up the girls. There was a mad scramble when Emily found out the girls were still at school and at the sitters. Nana was on her way home from work when Wapa called to report the mixup so I made a mad dash to pick up Ella and Emily left work long enough to pick up Gracie. After Em got off work, we met in Jacksonville to give Ella back to her Mom. It is a toss up as to who should take the blame but everyone will be more careful in the future.

Gracie looks adorable in her outfit with her little leggings! I love tights and leggings! I probably won't love them when it comes time for diaper changes, but I guess I'll deal with it. :-)
Gracie looks adorable!
Yes, I love the leggings too. What a story -- Joel got left at church when he was little once. His parents drove separate and they each thought the other one had him. When they got home, they realized neither of them had him so back to church they went to find him waiting patiently. He said he was scared and may have cried a bit.
Hey I didn't see this one... I thought I was all caught up on your bloggity blog. Cute outfit, cute girl. Hey on the recipe thing for apple crisp... I needed to add double the dry ingredients... I made it 2 times and it looks icky, taste good.
