And Then There Were Two
Anyone who has known Gracie for very long knows about her pink teddy bear blanket. She has packed it around since she was old enough to walk. This precious teddy bear has been lost and found more times than I care to admit. I even had to sew a pocket on it so that Gracie could put our return address in it in case he was lost again. Most days, teddy bear stays on her bed until bedtime now that she is a very mature 5 year old. Ella has a purple elephant that is the same style as Gracie's bear. Ella packs it around everywhere, in the same way that Gracie used to pack hers around. Well, one day this week I found both of the blankets neglected on the ground, side by side. It was funny to see, so I took a picture to remind myself of the days when my girls needed these items. In the blink of an eye they will be going on dates and denying that they ever had these security blankets.

The picture doesn't seem important but as you said it sure does point to the future and how quickly time flies.

This is such a cute little story! I am trying to get Gracie to have a security blanket so that maybe she can go to bed without mommy or daddy when she gets to be the boys age! Thanks for your sweet comments! You are always so kind! Have a great day!
Ahh we have a blue blankie for Drew, we lost both them last week. Just found it today! Lindsey still loves her pink
blankie! I do think time goes by so fast as well. I love all the seasons of our children. Cute pictures.
Oh my dear Emily . . . you are so right. These days will be over in the blink of an eye. I still can't believe my baby is all grown up and I have grandkids. ENJOY every moment and don't wish their lives away. So many times I hear people say, "I can't wait until . . ." Trust me . . . you will wish later you waited. I enjoy every moment now with my grandchildren. What a blessing!!!!
