Lovin' The Warm Weather
The Doolin family is so glad that the weather has turned around...finally. Between painting our kitchen and nursing sick kiddos, I haven't posted much lately. I'll just fill in the gaps by saying that when we weren't painting or sick, we were probably outside playing. That's about all I get done anymore, but it is so fun after a long winter indoors. Gracie is so glad to get the bubbles out again.
This summer will be fun with Ella. She loves exploring every little thing outdoors and is content sitting on our bench outside our front door, just watching people, cars, animals, etc. Today she seldom left the Little Tykes car.
Again...the bubbles are a family favorite.
Ella loves to pop the bubbles for Gracie. Sometimes she stands a little too close and gets a face full of Gracie's spit and loose bubble juice. She'll learn!
This chick has an attitude already. She is so totally different from Gracie. I have recently discovered her successfully removing the outlet covers, she has mastered opening the baby gate and going downstairs and is currently working on refusing any food offered to her on a utensil because she must feed herself. Most days I can go with the flow, but once in a while I find myself comparing her to Gracie, then have to force myself to remember every child is so different.

I, too, and thrilled that the weather has turned warm. Ella & Gracie look like they are having a lot of fun. It's amazing how much older Ella looks - even since I saw her a few weeks ago.
Nana is also glad that the girls can be outside. Maybe some of the germs can be aired out of the house during this nice weather. Hurray for Spring!!
Love the pictures of the girls...nothing beats being outside!
what color did you paint your kitchen? I am debating colors now... NEED IDEAS... ;-)
I noticed Ell'a ability to unlatch gate and scoot down the steps quite effectivily. She is a growing girl. I had so much fun with the girls on Friday Mamma
Deb, I will post some pictures in the near future. The color combo might sound a little wild, but I really like it. I have a gold/yellow color on top (Slice), then a chair rail separates the top and bottome color, and it is called Sandtrap (cream color) and the bottom is a mossy green color. Anyway, don't form an opinion until I post pic's. I'm still painting cabinets (ick) so I don't want to post pics until it's all done! :-) Here's hoping it is done in the near future.
We love to spend time outside, too!! Has Ella had a popsicle yet? As soon as the weather was warm, our kids were asking for popsicles.
