This is one of the only shots of Brent and myself at prom. We took it ourselves by holding the camera out in front of us. 
Julie, the superintendent's wife, and I talked the whole night. We were good chaperons and sat and critiqued the dresses and dancing. Not really! Actually we just enjoyed talking about people we knew in common from high school days, our common interest in Schwan's food, and being Mommy's.
Will, Mr. Superintendent, and his wife Julie. It was a late evening by the time we stayed and helped with cleanup. I'm not very good at staying up past 11 p.m., so it was a challenge. All in all, a fun evening.

I feel your pain with staying up late for prom. I didn't get home until 1:30 a.m. or so and had church the next morning. It was painful, but fun.
So great that you 'get' to experience prom again! ;-) Love the self-portrait...this is the means that Jeff and I get most of our pictures too...
Uh, where was the full length photo of the prom dress with Brent????? Glad you made the best of it.
