Welcome to our blog. Brent is a principal, Emily teaches fourth grade, and Gracie and Ella are our little angels. We use this blog as our family scrapbook, so feel free to read away. However, I won't be surprised if you find our daily happenings to be dull! :-)

The Fairies at Work
This weekend we were in Unionville for Brent's Mom's Retirement celebrations. When we got home, Gracie found that her room had been tampered with. There was a Magna Doodle on her bed with a note saying, "The fairies came for a visit. Sorry. Love you." Someone had rearranged some of her animals and dolls from their proper locations.
This poor rabbit was not only squished behind her bed, but he had to wear brunette hair extensions.
Mr. Teddy Bear doesn't belong in Gracie's princess chair.
Dora and her little bear shouldn't be behind the pillows.
Gracie erased the original message on her Magna Doodle, and this is what she wrote. She knows her Grandpa Self is very mischievous. In fact, she often prays that Grandpa will learn to stop teasing. She wrote a note to my dad as well, asking him why he messed up her room. She wants to know when he will be back in Macon to straighten her room up. We're waiting, Grandpa.

I love it! Gracie calling Grandpa out on the blog is hilarious. Grandpa should be careful...if Gracie's talking to the man upstairs about his teasing he may just find some big fat snakes in his yard!
This made me smile so much! Love, love, love the fact that your dad is so involved! What great memories he is creating with his grand daughter... Thanks for sharing pics. ;-)
Was Grandpa busy or what?? I must have been showing Nana Kaser the kitchen cabinets when he was reeking havoc. What a guy!! Actually I am glad he finally feels up to a little teasing.

Grandpa has to teach 3rd grade this afternoon, and tomorrow morning I have a ribbon cutting at the park at 11:00, so it will have to be after that. Maybe Tuesday afternoon I could come and clean up the mess the fairies made. They should be ashamed! Grandpa Self
That is so fun and Miss Gracie is a great writer and not even in kindergarten. I'm impressed with her writing abilities!!
Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my blog, you are wonderful and I wish we lived closer to run together.. or shop or have playdays and girlie things.
Hope to see you all this summer!
What a hoot!! I don't think there are any fairies around here, but it would be fun to have them come and visit :) Thanks for sharing!
I love this! Actually, I should just say ditto to everything Tara said. The first thing I thought of when I saw this post was "wow, did Gracie really write that?" I too am very appreciate of your sweet comments and the fact that you take the time to leave them. I know how precious computer time is with kiddos and a busy husband!
OMG....this is hilarious!!! Maybe I'm starting to see now where Gracie gets her creativity.
