Gracie's First Day of Kindergarten

Gracie doesn't get to ride the bus since she's going to school in Atlanta, so Brent's car serves as her school bus of sorts. It's pretty handy for me to not have to take Gracie to school, plus it gives Brent and Gracie some good car time together..JPG)

It may look like Gracie has the first day jitters, but she was actually just cold. It was only 65 degrees this morning and she was requesting a coat. .JPG)
The new Barbie backpack that Gracie wanted. Barbie has a "real" pearl necklace around her neck, thus the appeal.

I think Gracie will enjoy seeing Brent in the halls at school. Now if she just understands when he is too busy to hug her or stop to talk..JPG)
Gracie Doolin, 5 years old...but still my baby girl! She reported that it was a really good day. She shared her lunch with some of her classmates, loved P.E. and Music class and got to have recess 3 times today.

Oh that is so precious. How fast time goes by, I remember it like yesterday bringing you a meal to your house in wayland after you had Gracie. I bet Ella wonders where Gracie is.
