Well, it's only 8:54 p.m. and I'm exhausted. My day started at 4:45 a.m. when my insomnia kicked in. I know I need to be sleeping now since I will probably be having many restless nights once Baby D. is here, but it's really hard to sleep when you are uncomfortable and have a 10 pound baby kicking around in your stomach! :-) Just kidding. That's not my vote. I'm guessing 8 pounds 6 ounces. My nesting is in full swing as I felt a strong urge to come home and shampoo the living room carpet. That's not something I would normally do after a long day at work, but the urge hit me.
Did anyone notice the comment from my friend in Taiwan who is now polling people around the world regarding the Ella/Emma quandry? Isn't that funny. Jen says that Ella comes out "Erra" when a Taiwanese person says it, so they vote for Emma. I just think it's so funny that we have come this far and still have no name, and now it's a serious enough issue that it has gone global! Keep up the good work, Jen Ren!
Well, since it's my last night with just Gracie I am going to go read her as many bedtime stories as she wants. Tomorrow she is leaving to stay with Brent's family in Hannibal at a hotel so they will be well rested for Friday's events. I predict that Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White and Good Night Princess Pruny Toes will be among the stories she wants to read. A princess theme, right? Ella...Cinderella. I'm feeling it! Now if Brent would just feel it!

The vote is in! My advisory took a vote yesterday (Wednesday) on the name --- it was unanimous --- ELLA. Several of the girls did comment on how much they like Emma, but when it came to the vote, ELLA won, hands down. If you would care for me to poll the entire faculty, I'm happy to help the cause. :-)

What time are you scheduled to go in for the c-section? Make sure Brent doesn't forget his cell -- AND....his charger. We're praying for you Emily. Love you!!!!!
P.S. Did you like the revision Fuzzy version?
Thanks for the help Dana. I need Brent to get on here and read all of the comments and maybe that will help us narrow things down. Ella seems to be the favorite.
And Vian, yes I like the revised Fuzzy version. You can chant it to her when you meet her. Won't it be funny if she comes out with a head of fuzzy hair?! My c-section is scheduled to take place around 7:30a.m. I have to be there at 5:45 for the preliminary stuff. It will be an early morning for Daddy Doolin!

CONGRATULATIONS Brent, Emily, and Gracie!!! So glad to hear Fuzzy has arrived. We'll spare the details for Doolins to make the official announcement themselves but disappointed we didn't win the weight lottery not to mention think of the name. Better luck next time. We're so happy for you and can't wait to see you!
Love you guys!!
Okay, I'm not going to give the weight but it appears there is a tie for the weight lottery winner between Moses and Nana unless you want to include Dr. Bennett. CONGRATS!
Wow, I feel so special getting a personal mention on the Doolin blog!:-) Congratulations on Fuzzy's safe arrival. Can't wait for more details!

Ella is so beautiful! I'd say she is definitely a keeper. Praise God for an easier delivery this time and good health for both Emily and Ella. Safe travels home today if you are released. Hope you have a nice first evening and night home as a family. God bless you!
P.S. Hope you enjoyed the raspberry cheesecake!
