Welcome to our blog. Brent is a principal, Emily teaches fourth grade, and Gracie and Ella are our little angels. We use this blog as our family scrapbook, so feel free to read away. However, I won't be surprised if you find our daily happenings to be dull! :-)

Round 3
Today I took Gracie back to the dermatologist for her third appointment. She started with 4 warts on her fingers (I think, but I'm losing track). Her first treatment went well, but we had to go back for a second application of the medicine. Today was her third application of the medicine and she had two new minuscule warts. Ick! We were disappointed to find two new ones, but there was also success as the biggest warts were either gone all together or much smaller. Gracie is just as pleased as can be with her dermatology appointments. She loves the doctor, the rewards for being so brave (thank you Grandpa and Nana), and the suckers she gets from the receptionist at the clinic. She doesn't care that she has warts; in fact she calls them bumps. Her doctor said she can look at Gracie's skin and she that she is predisposed to viral infections, but she thinks that as Gracie ages and "gets tougher" she should outgrow this. We hope so! Her doctor also said there is research that proves you should yell at your warts and they will go away quicker, so we have been doing lots of yelling in our house!.JPG)

What a sweet and beautiful young lady! I hope the treatments aren't too painful for her.
Keep yelling Gracie. We don't want any more warts.
Love,
NANA
I bet your Dr. wishes all his patients were as prety and good as you are. How fun to yell at your warts . What do you yell?
Love Mama
Ah that is so interesting to yell at them.. I've heard of duck taping them..it worked for the mcfarlands(jayden). Lindsey has had skin issues and the Uof I said she'd outgrow outbreaks and she really has. I'm so glad. Hope you are doing well.
For some reason at our neighborhood cookout last night the subject of warts came up...2 different people said that they had rubbed a raw potato on the wart and then buried the potato. The warts went away immediately. Strange??? I think so, but apparently it worked for 2 different people!
Good luck Gracie
