Today when I took Gracie to Preschool, the teachers were all taking a peek in the car seat at Ella. They started talking about who she looked like. It doesn't take long for people to say that she looks like Gracie or Brent. Duh, they look like each other. I just said, "Well, I'm pretty sure she'll look like Gracie when she grows up." A little African American boy was listening and he stepped up and said, "Well, I think she's going to look like me when she grows up." He was just as serious as could be. I smiled and said, "Well that would really be something, wouldn't it?!" It was too funny. The teachers laughed until they were crying because the little boy was so serious.
This afternoon the resident Easter Bunny hid all of our plastic eggs and practiced finding them. She managed to "hide" a few on her sister. You can tell it's the work of a 4 year old Easter Bunny since they were hidden pretty much in plain sight. We also got out all of our stuffed Easter rabbits and Gracie managed to pose for a picture. It's a rare occasion when she will let us take her picture, so you have to snap quickly! Gracie has decided it's more fun to take pictures than to be in the pictures, thus the picture of 1/2 of my face. She's practicing. Maybe next time my whole face will make it in the picture!

Cute pictures, as usual. I do like how Gracie has hidden the eggs ON Ella. :-)
Tell Gracie I think she's got potential as a photographer!
Thanks again for the blog today! It definitely made my day.
Hilarious. I kept thinking you accientally posted the wrong pic before I read the entire story. Must be the age b/c Gabe prefers to take pictures, too. We thought about getting him the Kids Tuff camera.
Had an awful experience taking pics at Babies R Us in Chesterfield, MO today. I would NEVER recommend going. Appointments mean nothing. We waiting from 5-8:30 p.m. You don't make babies wait. By the time we took pictures, the boys were tired, fussy, and hungry. They allow walk-ins despite people with appointments. How awful! Needless to say, Alisha and I were NOT happy campers.
Forgot to mention if you want to take Gracie somewhere FUN to get her hair cut, go the the Hairy Elephant in O'Fallon, MO for a little getaway. It was certainly worth the drive to get Gavin's haircut. It's been so challenging in the past, but this place is a lifesaver that only cuts kids hair. They can sit in an airplane, jeep, golf cart, or something else. So fun for kids!!!!! This is HIGHLY recommended unlike my previous comment.
Wow! I think Gracie looks so grown up in that picture! Love your stories! They always make me laugh and know that I have so much to look forward! Hope you all have a super Easter!
Vian,
Oh, gracious. I'm glad you told me athe the Babies R Us photo experience. I definitely will forego making any appointments there. The hair appointment, however sounded like a lot of fun. Alisha's pics on her blog were great. Too cute. Your little guys are so sweet and growing up so much!
