I had been thinking that Ella was ready to try cereal, and the doctor said we could start, although he didn't recommend it until she was 5 and 1/2 months. As you can see, she didn't love it. We let her just take her time and experiment with the food and the spoon. It got pretty messy..JPG)
Ella did enjoy the red spoon and the tray on her Bumbo seat. It was more fun than the cereal!.JPG)
Did I mention that the cereal got a little messy? Good thing Ella's bath was next on our list!

I would guess that 2 teaspoons of cereal went into Ella's stomach. The remainder went down her front. All in all, it was a good first time with cereal. We'll just keep working on it.

These pictures are adorable! Go Ella! Cereal is not my favorite either, so I might have created the same mess for you.
I love that last picture with the cereal running down her little tummy! What did Gracie think of Ella eating with a spoon?
