We took a short vacation this year and headed to Lake of the Ozarks for 3 days with my parents. The above photo is of Gracie happily traveling the 2 and 1/2 hours to the lake. Ella was snoozing most of the way, so she was a happy traveler as well.
We spent most of our spare time at the pool facilities within our condo. They had a really nice kiddie pool with squirting toys and buckets that dumped on you, as well as a lazy river that was fun for the kids as well as the adults. Ella and I stopped to pose by some of the pretty flowers on the way to the pool.
Brent was a good sport and got in the kiddie pool with Gracie. She was a little timid about the buckets dumping on her, but once Brent showed her it was ok, she had a good time playing in it.
Ella and I didn't get in the pool the first night because it was getting too late. We had to make do with getting our toes wet. She did seem to enjoy the water.
Gracie and her floaty made many trips around the lazy river. 
Above you will see Brent getting ready to enjoy his uck. (Gracie still calls Mtn Dew 'uck'!)

The pool looks awesome! We love going to Lake of the Ozarks, always a good time:) Did you guys play skee ball on the strip?
We usually love going to the strip, but Gracie can't quite play skee ball yet so we didn't go. My mom and I could play for an hour though. It becomes an addiction with us.
