And She's Up
It's hard for me to believe that my baby is sitting up now. It really just happened over night. She could only sit up for maybe 5-6 seconds unsupported a few days ago, but this morning she was sitting up for about a minute before she would lose her balance. I guess I can't keep blaming my 5 extra pounds on the fact that I just had a baby, because she's now half a year old.
This was particularly impressive, because she maintained her balance while she put the blocks in the container. She had to focus on her balance and her hands picking up the shapes. Yeah, Ella!
To quote part of a song my dad taught me when I was young, "And when you're up you're up, and when you're down you're down." Gracie thought this photo was worth sharing.

What adorable pictures of Miss Ella. I would love to see her, but with school starting a week from today it just probably won't happen until sometime in the fall. Give her a big hug from me! :-)
Will do. Hope you have a good school year.
Wow, I feel like I've been out of touch. Either that or you've played catch up with posting a ton of pics. One minute Gracie is holding Ella, she's sitting in her bumbo seat, and the next minute Ella is sitting on her own. Gracie, I'm with you. I don't want Ella to get big. Slow down your growing spurt Ella. Love your beautiful gowns Gracie!!!!
What a big girl. It is hard to believe she can do that already. We will soon be without a baby in the family. They do grow up to fast/\.
Yeah, Ella! What a big girl she's getting to be! I agree with Gracie, that last picture is worth sharing- too cute.
