Who do you love the most?
I have been finding myself having the same discussion with Gracie lately. Ever since we have had Ella, she wants to know who I love the most. My answer never varies. I always tell her I love them both the same. Today the question was a little different. We were saying our morning goodbyes to Brent and I said, "I love you." He said the same back to me. As we drove off, Gracie sad, "I thought I was your love." I said, "Well, you are my love, but I also love Daddy and Ella." She quickly asked, "Well, who do you love the most?" I tried to answer the question the same way, but I said, "Well, I love daddy as my husband and I love you and Ella as my girls. She's my best Ella-love and you are my best Gracie-love." Gracie thought a moment and asked, "Do you know who I love the most?" I asked her who and she said, "Ella. Because she has a cute face." There you have it. Out of the mouth of a four-year old. She chose to love her sister the most because of her cute face! I don't blame her I guess. :-)

I like that you are documenting some of the cute stuff that Gracie is saying. I plan to copy you on my blog with regard to things Elise says :) I don't see myself getting it all written down, but somehow getting it typed out is easier..???
Isn't it fun to hear a 4 year old perspective on life and love? Ella does have a pretty cute face, I can see why Gracie loves her so very much!
