Gracie's First Day of Pre-K

Today was Gracie's first day in Pre-K at Tri-County Christian School. It's the same school she attended last year for Pre-School. This years goals include learning how to count to 100, write your last name along with your first name that they learned last year, reading 3 letter words, and what sounds vowels make. There are many more goals, but I can't remember them all. As you can see she was pretty excited about going.
Gracie is decked out in a dress because on Wednesday's all the girls wear dresses and the boys wear collared shirts and they go to chapel. Most Wednesday's Gracie is thrilled to get dressed for school.
Gracie chose to use the same lunch box as last year because she still loves the princesses. It was fine with me to not buy a new one!
Doesn't Gracie look so small compared to the big Tri-County Christian School sign? I didn't realize how little she looked until I put this picture on the computer.

This is Gracie with her new teacher, Mrs. Dawn. She loved Mrs. Joyce last year but will probably love Mrs. Dawn just as much. Mrs. Dawn will be having a baby any day now, so she will be gone for 6 weeks, but Gracie is very familiar with the substitute and likes her as well.

How precious Gracie looks in these pictures. I don't want her to grow up but I don't want her to remain a small child. That's nonsense!!!
