Saturday Travels

Saturday morning we headed over to Unionville for Memorial Day weekend with the Doolins, but we couldn't resist stopping to see our friends Brent and Shelli Franke and their little boy Luke. They were back visiting their parents who live not too far from Kirksville and were also celebrating Luke's first birthday. It was so good to see them.
There's the birthday boy! What a cutie Luke is. Brent looks pretty happy holding a boy, huh?!
Luke standing proudly with his new John Deere tractor he got from his grandparents for his birthday.
I couldn't resist adding this picture of poor Molly. I turned around to check on her at one point, and she was pouting on the barricade Brent had built at the back of the van. Lucky for her, our nephews and neices spoiled her rotten once we got there, so the trip was good for her too. The rest of Saturday was spent wallpapering Janice's living room. She bought the paper quite a while back, and we had designated this weekend as the one to get it hung. It looked so beautiful, but I forgot to take any pictures!

You have a good memory, Vian. Yes, they moved to the Nashville area and Brent works for Aldi.

Oh, and Dana, I'm glad you still claim Molly! :-)
