Queen Bester

Today is Sunday, so we went to church as usual. Gracie is slowly becoming accustomed to our new church and every week she is more confident about leaving us to go to class. Today she was especially excited to tell us what she learned about Queen Bester in class. She had made a beautiful crown so that she could act out the story of Queen Esther, but no matter how many times we said Esther, Gracie corrected us and said Bester. So, for today, Queen Bester it is.
There was another surprise today when Gracie told me that her imaginary babies don't think she should go to school anymore. She said, "My babies think I should stay with you on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday." Who knew that she had already learned her days of the week??? I guess she needs to stay in school, because she had to have learned them there.

Oh, that didn't hurt at all, Mike! Actually, his little stint on the blog may turn into a frequent thing. I enjoyed it immensely. Time is a factor with him right now. For now, you are stuck with me and my Gracie stories!

I wish you and Brent would get it right Queen Bester and quit trying to confuse Gracie how cute

Oh Emily did we have some good laughs with your blog yesterday at Derr's house. We were celebrating Bruce's bday and Melissa and I updated the girls with your creative, entertaining stories. Do keep 'em coming so we have something to talk about. We even told Ang she was referenced in one of the stories. :-) I told everybody they had to get on here and read Brent's hilarious rambling rendition.

It's so good to know that we aren't forgotten at the birthday get-togethers! Thanks!
